Folkland is a recreational entertainment park born out of a desire and need to create a safe and open environment where friends and family can come engage in fun social interactions, make memories and explore a range of exciting activities in a safe, healthy, and positive environment.

We called this place Folkland because our social and cultural Mizo history is based on folk culture, where the expression of everyday life is unified by traditions practiced through the ages, reinforced by storytelling and folktales passed down from generation to generation.

We have gone back to our roots to honour this tradition, integrating as much of our culture into the design of the place. And we hope people will come to make new memories with each other, and continue to share their own stories with their families and friends.

Folkland Park stresses on the importance of play to stimulate a healthy mind and provide an environment to build relationships. It also provides positive psychological benefits of exercise, play, and mental stimulation. There are quaint and quiet spots all around the park that are perfect for conversations, reading, and meditating.
