FUTSAL

The Futsal arena at Folkland Park is the first of its kind in Mizoram and Northeast India. It was inspired by and created for the undying Mizo football lovers.

Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced five-sided game that is widely played across the world and is officially recognized by both UEFA and FIFA. The nature of the game places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situation of high pressure, and is subsequently an excellent breeding ground for football players.

Many of the top world class fotballers played Futsal in their youth and credit it with supporting their footballing development; players of the like of Pele, Zico, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Deco, and Xavi amongst many others, have played Futsal to develop their skills.
